Lift Off! is an exciting new multimedia program that puts students right in the middle of the action. It asks users to solve a real-world chemical problem, using fundamental chemical knowledge and calculations to find the answer. Actual NASA film footage, combined with spacecraft animations and a newscaster's voice, dramatize the problem scenario. As they work to solve the riddle of the aborted launch, they will hypothesize, test, analyze, and draw conclusive, substantiated arguments backed by chemical calculations.
