Q-Pulse version 4 is a full feature release / upgrade that provides a flexible, practical solution which minimizes administrative time and costs while helping identify opportunities for business improvement. Available in 16 bit or 32 bit versions, Q-Pulse’s design allows the user to adapt the system to suit their own requirements recognizing that each company has a different viewpoint and priorities. • Document change requests can be raised for all controlled documents through the right mouse button functionality. Q-Pulse maintains a separate register similar to the Document register for all such requests.
• The Document Register can be viewed without any one launching the actual Q-Pulse application. This separate viewer can be used without having to access Q-Pulse. This viewer can make setting user access rights much less complicated.
• Documents can be distributed to a named job function as well as individuals.

• Controlled Documents/Procedures can now be identified as a training need as well as the items on the Master Course list. A new document revision will automatically generate a new training need. If there are multiple revisions, Q-Pulse will automatically delete the interim revision training need request.
• The Master Course list page is now divided into two sub-pages – Standard Courses and Procedure Based.
• In the personnel records, there is a new area ("Associated Files" tab) to attach an unlimited amount of file attachments – can be used effectively for attaching personnel records such a performance reviews.
• In the Analysis page, additional fields and screens will allow for training budget management (Cost Analysis) and give the user the ability to rate the effectiveness of their training efforts (Performance).
• You may now print a list of all your employees from the List Page.
• You may now also print the Job Spec’s information.

• Safety and Maintenance checks can be performed as well as Calibrations from the Equipment Details page.
• The "New Memo Entry" button on the "Results" page gives you the ability to enter a new diary entry without leaving the page.

• A new group edit function allows for the modification of multiple records simultaneously.
• A new group results function will allow group results to be records. Ideal when the same process on a number of equipment items simultaneously.

• Positive customer comments can now be recorded and accessed through the "compliments register" of the customer module.
• The "Customer List, Details, History and Diary" pages allow multiple file attachments with comments.
• A new, quick add option (on the "Customer Actions" page) allows for immediate recording of complaint details through the link with the Non-conformance page in the Corrective Action module.

• The program allows you to print the acknowledgement letter to send to the client.

• There are over 60 additional management reports that detail every aspect of the recorded issues.
• Identified problems that require multiple corrective actions can be assigned to specific team members
• Additional and enhanced filters provided for easier and detailed analysis – can be used to prevent potential problems as associated or related concerns can be grouped and analyzed – repetitious issues can be marked and targeted for business improvement.

• Audit checklist can now be created within the Audit Modules from established questions and or the linking of other document through the file manager
• You may now approve an audit calendar that will automatically note any changes, ensuring an audit trail.
• The program allows Security to be specifically defined – Auditors may now have full access to the calendar while department managers/representatives could have restricted access to their department’s records only.
• Increased Audit analysis can be performed through the "Analysis" page.

• The "Supplier List, Product and Services , Performance and Assessment" pages allow multiple file attachments with comments.
• Supplier Questionnaires can be created with user friendly editing.
• Supplier rating can be calculated based upon key factors specific to your organization. Overall performance ratings can be calculated based upon specific or historical.
• Supplier performance/ratings can be graphed.
• Purchase order details can be attached to identified non conformances.
• Purchase orders / performance ratings can be based upon recorded incidents against all purchase orders.

• All of the internal Q-Pulse messages can be modified to suit the client’s needs.
• Generic Emails message can be sent from within any of the modules
• Files can be attached to messages.
• Personal actions can be created and subsequently monitored as the result of a message

• A new "Age Graph" utility allows you to analyze overdue action and target specific activities that are frequently overdue.
• Automatic escalation of overdue activities to another level of management based on overdue target completion dates or exceeding acceptable company levels.

• Reaction Time facility/graphs to help analyze the life cycle of a problem.
• Non-Conformance duration facility allows the user to view the average lifecycle of a problem.
